The tasks a Kindergarten Teacher is expected to perform include:

Teaching the children of nursery and kindergarten classes
Teaching through Montessori, happy education or other systems of child education
Teaching reading and writing of alphabets, numerals and simple sentences
Helping the students do simple additions and subtractions
Familiarising them with names, colors, shapes, sounds, etc, of objects, flowers, birds and animals
Directing all the recreational activities
Guiding the development of physical and mental activities of children
Receiving fees and maintaining the accounts
Arranging for children’s mid-day meals
Attending other extracurricular or special activities such as sports, dramatics, picnics and excursions, music, hand work, etc
